Introduction

Customs is an authority or responsibility for collecting duties like safeguarding customs duties and for controlling the flow of goods for import and export in a country. Customs duty was governed by customs act 1962 and the Customs Tariff Act 1975. Duty may be a percentage of the value of the goods or at a specific rate.
