Granulation process was developed and commercialized for generating a form which can meet the stringent standards in imposed by customer preference and environmental consideration. This process includes the size enlargement of small particles of sulphur. Molten sulphur is transformed into dense spherical granules. In this process small sulphur particles are coated with molten sulphur. Many layers are applied after the solidification of previous layer. With many layers, small particles are increased in weight and volume. The process is on going till its reach a diameter around 1-6. Undersize granules are separated from the product size granules through a screening process.
