Elemental Sulphur provide the micronized sulphur of various sizes for the diverse industrial uses. The available sizes are from 5 to 45 microns. They possess 99% purity and are produced by using the most effective processes in the industry.

Micronized sulphur is the sulphur with smaller granule sizes. For agricultural and some other applications they are smaller than 45 microns. Mean granule size for agricultural purposes is 20 microns. Even smaller sizes may be required for other specific applications like pesticides, generally uses mean granule size of 5 microns.
Commercially, sulphur is sold and bought in the form of large slabs. To make it easier to handle, a method was described by U.S. Pat. No. 4,364,774 in 1982. This method of mainly pelletizing the sulphur, includes the pouring of molten sulphur into the water bath. Granules obtained through grinding process has problems relating to fire, explosion and dust control. In 1977, U.S. Pat. No. 4,043,717 was issued, which introduced a device with spray head surrounded by circularly water jacket. Deluge type spray exits the head and irregular granular pellets are formed due to the impingement of water on molten sulphur. Granules produced from this device have size less than 45 microns.
